Geoff Cook

Played for Northamptonshire from 1971 to 1990

... he then moved to Durham and remined there as a player and the Captain until 1995. After running the county's youth Acedemy he was appointed first team coach in 2007.Under his guidance Durham won their first major trophy at Lords in the same year, and followed this by winning the County Chamionship for the next two years.

He has been both the Chairman and Secretary of the Professional Cricketers Association.

Geoff continues his involvement with Durham CCC and speaks on the after dinner circuit when he can.
